It was within these stories that we came to know the fantastical.
The magical.

We learned to slay the dragons, befriend the monsters, and make it through the deep, dark wilderness.
The stories danced and grew with us.
We brought all they offered back to our world.
And planted seeds for new myths to be born.
But, once upon another time…the stories were taken, from many of us at least.
They were put in books.
Left unchanged.
And stayed that way forever more.
The ache for the stories of once upon a time has lasted.
We feel it.
And we try, don’t we.
But it is not quite the same and our bones know it.
I seek to weave together a new mythology.
One we can once again live within.
Where we get to know the landscape of make believe made real.
Where we once again learn how to make it through.
Through is a Quest created for times like these.
Times that challenge.
Times that threaten.
Times that offer the possibility of a new way forward.
Through takes you on a journey into the forest.
Because sometimes what is needed is an adventure through the enchanted.
The wild.
The woods.
To remind you that each step matters.
To show you that you are not alone.
And to give you the gifts required to help on the days when you are not sure how.
Through calls you into the wilderness.
A voice will guide you each step of the way.
In the woods you will meet brilliant shadows, magnetic flames and gifts of your own making.

It is told through 14 parcels filled with art, ritual and wonder
that you get to open and embody.
While this moment in time may not be the adventure you choose.

And there are 12 envelopes you will discover on your way.
You, however, will choose their order
and go on the journey you need.
As community is vital on any journey,
there will be a digital space devoted to this Quest…
one that is not on Facebook.
You will get to share and connect about each letter and experience, if you desire.

The Digital Quest
arrives in its entirety upon checkout.
The Digital Quest is formatted to allow you to choose your adventure and to print the treasures you find along the way.
If you purchase your Quest prior to December 10th, I will email you all you need to claim your experience.
The Digital Quest will be offered on a sliding scale from $20 to $50.

Yes, you can give this Quest as a gift. Simply put in the recipient's mailing address (physical or digital) as you are checking out. If you would like to include a note, email me and I will take care of it.
The experience of the Tangible Quest and the Digital Quest is essentially the same. Both Quests bring you through the same journey.
Both Quests have pieces conjured just for you.
However, the Tangible Quest has pieces you can hold, interact with and use in ways that will deepen your experience.10% of what I make will be used to buy winter holiday presents to put in my Library of Wonders and Curiosities…a little free library/art project that lives at the front of my driveway. As you likely know, Western North Carolina (I am in Asheville) was hit hard by Hurricane Helene. We are still healing. Each year I have had my library, I have placed gifts I have made and bought within it during the holiday season. I would like to offer a little more this year, if possible.
With this Quest you get to go at your own pace. There is no rush. And there is no way to do it wrong.
You will receive more information about the community aspect upon sign up. Participation is meant to support and enhance the experience but it is by no means necessary.
